Motif Investing

Motif Investing is an online broker that focused on concept-driven investing themes (“Motifs”) for individuals and financial advisors. As a Product Designer on the original pre-launch beta and retail teams, the service went on to receive recognition from Forbes Fintech 50 and CNBC Disruptor 50 before a tech aquisition by Charles Schwab.

Trunk Club

Trunk Club pioneered the at-home try-on model within the clothing industry, where items are shipped directly to their home or office and each customer works with a styling specialist. I was tasked by Trunk Club to create an online gift card registry and checkout feature for their online platform.

Ookla

Ookla is the global leader in internet testing, data, and analysis with over 10 million tests taken each day by their flagship product, Speedtest. I worked to design and craft their overall corporate marketing branding and website, including their business client reporting interfaces.

Microsoft

Microsoft TechNet is a web service for IT professionals containing documentation and technical resources, and learning centers for internal Microsoft employees. I was an integral part of the design team helping unify product branding between TechNet and Microsoft’s ‘Metro’ design language, as well as updating clear integrated IA across applications within Microsoft's tech suite.

Silverlight

Silverlight was a popular application framework designed for writing and running rich web applications. I redesigned Silverlight’s marketing showcase landing page and community forum templates to help improve user engagement with Microsoft’s internal teams.

Speedtest

Speedtest is a popular web service that provides free analysis of Internet access performance metrics, such as connection data rate and latency. I was responsible for helping design and develop their front-end code for the service that manages more than 10 million tests per day.

University of WA

UW Tacoma is a satellite campus of the University of Washington. I was a member of a team that would seek to contemporize and refresh the Tacoma homepage with the goals of improving the user experience and increasing the functionality of the site as a launching point for new students.

Dotdotgrid

Dotdotgrid was an aggregator of web framework and technologies meant to offer a reference library of services used by popular e-commerce and B2B websites. I was responsible for the design, branding and build of the service.
